Date -

I went on a date around the city yesterday with Nadali! I had a lot of fun with her. First, this is the song that I was thinking about while writing this! Of course not only because the title is literally "Date", but because it makes really think about our time together and cherish it.

Lunch!! #

We started the day off getting some lunch together! We went to a local store before left for the city. The sandwich was so delicious. I got a turkey bacon pesto sandwich. They also have me two cookies instead of one! I shared the second with Nadali.

Her outfit was literally so cute. Seeing her in the light with the sunbeams shining on all her silver jewelry looked really gorgeous. The red of her jacket also really made her rosey cheeks pop, and I LOVE THAT!!!

Driving #

And just like that, we were on the freeway!! I recently had us watch the movie Trolls. She hates it so I made her watch it mwahaha.. Well turns out I enjoyed the movies and she knew all the lyrics to most of the songs somehow (sus).. so we listened to some Justin Timberlake on the way down. A little BroZone too, you know, the good stuff..

The Mall... #

We went to a popular mall in the area. It was SUPER packed!! I actually wanted to go here because I wanted to try on a jacket that I saw online at their outlet store. They didn't even have it though, so that was a bust..

Nadali found a jacket she liked!! It looked really good on her. It was also half off but she was still on the fence. I told her it would be worth it since she really likes it, so she got it.

We found this really cozy store that had a bunch of cool furniture. They also had Christmas decorations all over the place, but I'm not complaining!!

BOBA!!!! (kinda) #

After the mall, we went and got some boba from Chinatown!! They were out of the mochi, so I had to get something new. It wasn't very good. I got a lemon black tea, but it had like no lemon flavor. I also technically didn't actually get boba, but I don't care, Nadali did. We left Chinatown and headed for our dinner destination, but little did we know how much of a pain that would be...

Unrelated city pic on the right..

Pizza??? #

There's an underground pizza place we like to go to whenever we are in the city. It's always delicious and the atmosphere is awesome. Last time we went there was a some football game going on at the university (There is a major college campus right across the street from the pizza place). It was so busy and we almost couldn't get parking. Luckily, there was some hidden parking in the back for customers only. Lucky us!!!

Well this time wasn't so lucky. We went back to the customer only parking, but it was FULL!!!!! So we angerly drove around looking for parking. We would drive by, get excited there's a spot, then realize it's someone's driveway. We ended up parking like four city blocks away. It was a twelve minute walk, but so worth!!! I knew Nadali's feet were a little sore from walking around all day, so I offered her a piggy back ride. I got pretty far with her on my back, but going up that steep hill was TOUGH!!!

Once we got to the pizza shop, it wasn't really that busy inside. Just the regular amount, really. I kinda think the parking wasn't actually full, but he lied to us because we were wearing the colors of the hometown team that was playing. It looked like we were just trying to get around paying the $40 for game parking..

Classic pepperoni and basil pizza!

Dessert #

Because it's a date, we HAD to go out and get some special desert!!!! I have a thing on my credit card where they basically give me ten bucks to go eat at specific restaurants. One of those restaurants is Cheesecake Factory. The nice thing about Cheesecake Factory is that you don't even have to go dine in!! They have a counter where you can just order cheesecake!! They're pretty expensive, but with the ten dollar credit, it's basically buy one get one free.

It's getting cold out, so we just took it to the car and had a few bites while listening to L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole.

The End!! #

It was a really fun day!! I enjoyed listening to kpop during the drives and trying to help her decide whether or not to buy this half off jacket. It's too bad we slept in till 11:00 because I just still don't feel like we spent enough time together!!

That wraps up our 573rd day IN A ROW of seeing eachother face-to-face!! Streak is so crazy even some married couples can't compete.
