Forgotten Music -
A few days ago, I was browing nekoweb (as usual) and went to eye's website. I recognized the song of the month and I remembered it was good. Today I finally clicked on it to give it a listen for the first time in months. Seeing a song and remembering it is one thing but listening to it again and hearing how good it is is another.
I first heard this song back in my osu! days around five years ago. It still holds up to this day. A Sardine Grows from the Soil is sort of that classic vocaloid sound that I love. A similar song, Lamprey Hole, uses it in the same way and I love it. I'm not sure if they are made by the same artist? They're on the same channel so I assume so? I can't actually find these songs anywhere other than YouTube. Haven't dug around Nico Nico though. This is why they slip my mind so easily.
There are still songs where they'll have certain chords or synth sounds that remind me of one of these two. For example, the song I listed in my entry from a couple days ago always has me thinking of Lamprey Hole. There's just this one chord progression where I ALWAYS end up whistling it wrong because I expect it to go in the same direction as Lamprey Hole. (Sorry if you read this differently before, I really mixed up my memories) Anyways, eye has a good music taste. End of story.
Another sidenote, if you come to my entires right when they're uploaded, come back in like 20 minutes. Trust me. I always end up changing them right after uploading. I really need to start waiting before posting them, so I'm going to try and get better at that.
