Miata Pt. 4 -
Drove the Miata to my girlfriends house last night. It drove there fine. When I decided it was time to go home, the car did not. I crank it, it starts, then dies. YIPPEEEE!!!!!!!
I think it's my BRAND NEW fuel pump that failed. It's been whining super loud in the mornings and when I would coast to a stop, it would nearly stall. It's not that hard to replace, it just takes removing my hardtop. I think I'm going to gut the soft top and remove it. It's in bad condition and I never drive without the hardtop anyways.
I got maybe 200 miles on this pump. I got it in March, but I haven't done a lot of driving due to other things going wrong with this car.
I just don't want to work on this car anymore. I don't think I actually like being a car guy. It's too much stress. Instead of just paying out my ass for someone else to fix my problems, I have to figure out the problems, find the parts I need, then find time to put all these parts on (all at my own expense!).
I emailed Moss Miata asking about a warranty on this pump. Hopefully they get back soon and don't just ignore me.
A guy has been talking to me about buying my truck. I really hope he buiys it from me because the most perfect Nissan Frontier just popped up for sale. It's the color I want, it has the wheels I want, the packages I want, and it even has the lava red interior delete. It's perfect. I did the math and it even falls within my budget.
I should be getting my Elecom HUGE soon, so look out for a review on that!!
